Join us Saturday September 26th 2026 from 10:00am-5:oopm on the waterfront for one of Ventura County’s most vibrant community celebrations.

The Port Hueneme Banana Festival brings together live music, local food, family activities, and a rare behind‑the‑scenes look at Southern California’s only deep‑water commercial port. It’s a full day of culture, entertainment, and coastal fun — all with free admission. Come celebrate the community, explore the port, and enjoy a day filled with flavor, music, and sunshine. We’ll see you at the Banana Festival.

Join the EV Advocates of Ventura County

The EV Advocates of Ventura County will be featuring a number of EV’s for you to check out. They also have a popular Facebook page here: 

 

Their mission is, “to bring together individuals who are interested in electric vehicles and their expanded use in Ventura County. We are volunteers and primarily Ventura county residents who drive EV’s and participate in advocacy, education and outreach programs for electric vehicles. Some of our activities include:

 
• Organizing and participating in car shows and ride & drives to share our EV experience with others and encouraging knowledge sharing with future EV owners.
 
• Collaborating with local government, businesses and environmentally focused organizations to increase and enable EV use in Ventura County, emphasizing expanded access to charging infrastructure.
The group meets monthly to socialize, discuss local EV issues and plan for events. Meetings are held on the third Tuesday of the month beginning at 6:30pm. For more information email ev4ventura@gmail.com for details.”
